RIP Glenne Headly! The Dick Tracy and Mr. Holland’s Opus Star Was 63 Years Old!
Actress Glenne Headly has left us today. The actress was way too young to leave at only 63 years old. She was one of the best character actresses of her time and was so good in films like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Dick Tracy and Mr Holland’s Opus.

Glenne Headly passed away today at the far-too-young age of 63. She was an incredible actress and I’ve always enjoyed watching her onscreen.
My favorite performance of Glenne’s was as the wife in Mr. Holland’s Opus – she was amazing in that film and completely won me over with her performance. But, really, there wasn’t anything that I didn’t love watching her in.
She had a very sweet, genuine quality that drew you in to her. I was lucky enough to meet her about six years ago when she was performing in a play at the Geffen Playhouse. She was very kind and more than happy to take a picture. Very sad to learn of her passing. RIP Glenne. You’ll be missed.
